The ice would be likely to freeze at record rates, the record melting rates likely placed plenty of freshwater( which has a higher freezing point than saltwater so it freezes at higher temperatures) near the ice just in time for winter.
I’ve heard that if enough freshwater is released from the ice, then a new period of cooling in the northern hemisphere will at least be possible. So it will come roughly full circle?
Also, how accurate are weather and climate studies? in the 70’s they though a new ice age would likely be at hand, now it is the opposite more or less. And every day, the usual weather forecasts aren’t accurate pass a week. So years in advaced>? …it is hard to predict the weather.
P.s. if the sun cycle doesn’t hurry up, some think it sounds like a maunder minimum-like event, but anyway a volcano could erupt and drop temps. down, while raising um in the long term…

also: some worry big oil is against global warming proponents, bet that is true, but who else would be against it, and also… who would be for it? I am not buying that enough ‘fresh’ water caused the freezing temp to rise. The ocean would dilute it instantly. Besides, at the same time the Antarctic is at its greatest size and thickness ever.
The earths avg. temp. has not changed in 10 years!
Solar activity will change the earths temp. and the leftist thinks we can create the changes that an energy source as big as the sun can.
How come the highest temps recorded in some cities on the east coast, that were broken this week 6/9/08, were set in the 1880’s, prior to ‘green house gases?’
The earth is 3/4 water, water produces aprox. 94% of the CO2. Scientist have no idea how much rain occurs on the plant. Man only uses 1/5th of 1/4th of the planets land how can we possibly create enough CO2 to matter? When this planet was covered by active volcanoes spewing CO2 creating land the earth did not die, it grew.

The refreezing is becasue of the sun and soon in some years we will see their is no Global Warming, it was created becasue of MONEY!
The Norsemen went Greenland in 1500 and their was no Ice, in 100 years they left because the Ice returned even though the Inuits stayed.
I think we better hope this doesn’t turn into a deep Solar Maximum.
