The last time we saw a display of ignorance like this was the Hitler Youth Brigades. Senator Barack Obama’s, Democratic Presidential Candidate, youth brigades display their allegiance to a person not a country. That is exactly what happened in Germany before and during WWII!
This is a national security issue. The people have seen this before and will not tolerate it again.

Yes, I agree. This is wacko. Are these boys in boot camp? I also don’t agree with using little children. But I am voting for OBAMA! I am a VA Nurse, My son is a boy scout, my dad is a veteran and lifelong scout, my husband is a veteran. WE are all voting for OBAMA! What everyone seems to forget is that Hitler wanted to wipe out an entire race. I may have missed something but I certainly did not hear Obama or any other Democrat talk about the “Endlösung” or concentration camps. It’s the McCain camp spouting the garbage, not Obama.

I am so nervous about this guy. I know countries have to change, fall , rebuild, but I still have hope that we will see a return of the America I know and what it was until the mid-90s.
Obama is a very very scary character, that has a lot of extremism and radical ties in his past. What he says is entirely different than who he has been for the last 15 years in politics. People are blind…but they keep repeating the mantra of change anyhow.
I only hope , he acts on his words, and NOT the content of his character or what his beliefs are.

Obama is a nice guy, but he just has some VERY wrong ideas. National Healthcare? Look at Britain… Their national healthcare system is laughable. I recently read something from a British writer who said that many Brits will do everything they can for their injuries BEFORE they go to the hospital, because there is a high percentage of people who get sick in the hospital from things OTHER than what they were originally in the hospital for. Sanitation is horrible, doctors can’t afford medical supplies. This scares me.
Obama is too much like an American Tony Blair.

I’m part of an organization that works with inner city kids in the projects of Belle Glade, FL. We feed them, play with them, help them with homework, take them out to ice cream on occasion, and generally just be a good positive influence on their life. Most of the kids are black, and most of our volunteers are white.
So don’t tell me white people are bringing down blacks.

First, I’ve voted for every party during my life, not just one, I belong to no party. According to my Bible, bearing false witness is against the Ten
Commandments. The article title states ” youth brigades display their allegiance to a person not a country”. However the Serve America Act DOES NOT forbid church attendance, make participation mandatory, or promote one political party or view.
What it does prohibit is using the funding for programs to promote any religion, political purpose or party, or (and how conveniently the article left this
out) promoting abortion. The stated goal of this bill, now law, is to “renew the ethic of civic responsibility and the spirit of community for children and
youth throughout the United States”. In return for providing 100 hours of community service, $500 towards college tution will be given to each VOLUNTARY participant. Anyone fearful of an “Obama Youth Brigade” corrupting our youth, then organize your own community service project to serve and better your community, give our youths something constructive to do other than play video games and help make our country better instead of bearing false witness. America will be better for it!!! Read the bill yourself instead of relying on false testimony. That’s what Jesus would want you to do!
I don’t have a problem with anyone who would like to organize a youth program. But, don’t do it with TAX money. and this thing about it being voluntary will change to mandatory in order to get a student loan. Which the US Government already has control of, as getting a private student loan is impossible right now thanks to Obama taking over the banking system.

Uh, Barack Obama had nothing to do with the bombing of the pentagon, but George W Bush was in BUSINESS with the Bin Laden family, flew 60+ members of their family out of the US on 9-11 for their own ‘safety” when they should have been interrogated, Bush went Awol from the armed forces on a drinking binge with the Bin Laden familie’s finacncial adviser in his “military” days, and the Bin Laden family helped finance his first business venture. Get your facts straight before you post extremist propaganda with no factual backing.

I had real hope for Obama, but he turns out not only to have a similar aim to the last few presidents, but is far more arrogant in his pushing through of bills and FAR more militarily minded. What I find most terrifying is how he can tell bare-faced lies and people will cheer him as he tells it, and cheer still him when it turns out to be false. And the fact that his whole cabinet is made of people from one broad area of the social structure (the “military-industrial complex”) is a very transparent show of bias, which will inevitably lead to decisions made in the interests of that social structure. I would say his choice of people with whom he surrounds himself needs to CHANGE… Along with most of the legislation he has been invloved with making. Otherwise, we are aaaalllllll in a lot of trouble.
